We use Google Apps Script as a free server linking your iPhone Shortcut to your Google Sheets database.

Copy the Database

Copy the "Poor Decisions" Google Sheet template to your Google Drive.

Make sure you are logged into your Google account.

Run Setup Wizard

Open your newly copied Google Sheet. Click the Poor Decisions™ menu at the top and select Start Setup Wizard.

  • Confirm your currency.
  • Deploy as Web App (Execute as: Me, Access: Anyone).
  • Copy your Web App URL.

Add to iPhone

Download the iOS Shortcut to your phone. Open the Shortcuts app, edit the shortcut, and paste your Web App URL into the <your-url-here> placeholder block.
